Call to Order

The meeting was called to order by the Chairman at 7:30 PM.

The BOT immediately moved into Executive Session.

The BOT came out of Executive Session at 9:40PM.

It was moved, seconded and passed: A subcommittee of the BOT, which will include Carrie Alexander, Ken Grabowski (if he accepts) and Bob Kuhns with support from the Personnel Committee, is established to address 1) the finalization of a Personnel Manual, 2) an identification of institutional issues related to the Music Director position related to lines of communication, grievance procedures and staff role, 3) the negotiation of the next contract with the Music Director, and 4) a determination of need for further conciliation. In addition, the report by Nancy Bowen is to be transmitted to all participants in the mediation process with an accompanying written caveat specifying that this is Nancy Bowen’s report received by the Board and the subcommittee of the BOT will address these issues and take action.

It was moved, seconded and passed: To send a letter to the Ministers and the Music Director to make good faith efforts to reestablish their working relationship.
