As a service to members and visitors, acquires and sells books of interest to UUs, including publications of the Unitarian Universalist Association.

Book Sale

Joan Wamsley

Our bi-annual used book sales are anticipated by the local community and provide a portion of the church's operating funds.  Books, videos, CD's and puzzle contributions are encouraged and can be dropped off year-round in the white wagon-kiosk in the parking lot. Help is needed for pricing, sorting, setting up, and cleaning up throughout the year.

Caring Associates

Every Thursday Group

Good Companions

Elaine Bronez

Participants gather on the first and third Tuesday of each month at 11:45 for a brown-bag lunch followed a speaker at 12:45. Speakers are often church members or people from the neighborhood who talk about their personal experiences, hobbies, or other interesting topics. The emphasis is on "lifetime learning" and sociability. This program is now in its 12th year. New participants are welcome.

Holiday Shop

Held each November (traditionally the Saturday before Thanksgiving), this yearly extravaganza raises money for the Susan B. Anthony fund, which supports special needs of the church. Numerous church members and friends prepare for the occasion year-round, and even more pitch in to help with a variety of tasks on the day itself.

International Folk Dance
