Policies, Bylaws, Guidelines
Bylaws are general rules for church governance, somewhat like the U.S. Constitution. Church Bylaws can be changed only by vote of the congregation at an officially-called Congregational meeting.Policies are more specific rules governing church activity. Policies are adopted by the Board of Trustees. The Board can establish or change a policy at any official Board meeting.
